Damon's 30th Birthday

(click on photo for better view)

For Damon's 30th, we celebrated with an all day adventure! We started the day with 10 mile bike ride at Cross Seminole Trail. We then went to an indoor rock climbing facility and climbed the walls for a bit. Afterwards we stopped in a park and picniced for lunch. We then drove over to Ross where Damon was able to pick out some new clothes to add to his wardrobe. After a bit of shopping Damon and I headed over to Massage Envy for some swedish massages. Next we went to Red Lobster for a crab and lobster dinner. (They even messed up our order and brought us the 3lb lobster by accident!) To end the night we celebrated by eating home made birthday cake and toasting our glasses of champagne. It was a WONDERFUL day! : )

our kitchen

Here are two before pictures and two after pictures of our new kitchen. We replaced 2 water damaged boxes and then had the rest of the cabinets refaced. We also got a new counter top. We love the new look! We still have to put in the kitchen floor, but are hoping to get that done in the next few weekends.

new fence

Here is the new fence we put in. We still have to fix up the backyard...but at least the fence isn't falling down anymore.

new floors...

As we are running low on our current housing project funds, Damon and I decided that we would take on installing new hard wood floors. We decided on Ikea's Kvist and after driving 3 hours to pick up the goods...we finally started installing this weekend. We are almost done p still have a couple more feet to lay down and then we need to seal it. Not bad for a weekend's work. Much thanks to Dad Woods and Wes for their help and to Anthony Roy for lending us a saw!

Welcome...

Well, we decided creating a blog would be the best way of to keep our friends and family up to date with all of the wonderful adventures we are taking on in our lives. We keep saying we will send pictures, write emails, and call...but we aren't always the best at keeping up with keeping in touch. For those of us that know us...we take on a lot more than can be
